11. Radio automatically return
When you receive a same frequency signal during listen to
the radio, the signal can be stopped directly or return to the
radio after 5 seconds.
Press [MODE] key and then tune [DIAL] knob to enter
menu 16. And FM SET displays.
Press [MODE] key again to enter the menu.
Clockwise or counterclockwise rotate [DIAL] knob to se-
lect: OFF/ON. ON means automatically stop.
Press [MODE] key again to conrm after selected. Or
press [PTT] key to save the new settings and exit to nor-
mal operating mode.
X. Other Features and Settings
1 Emergency channel operations
(emergency calling function)
This radio is built-in a very useful “emergency call” feature.
Hold the [F] key for over 1 second and the “emergency call”
function can be activated. At this time:
The radio switch to the most commonly used channel
(O1-channel) to launch.
The red indicator light ashes.
The radio releases loud alarm sound.
This function can be turned off by pressing launch button.
When come across danger while walking outdoors, this func-
tion allows alarming to the family quickly. Loud alarm sound
may set back attack from gangster and avoid hurt
2 FM Radio (FM)
Hold [MONITOR / FM] button once for over 2 seconds to
enter FM radio receiving mode.
Rotate [DIAL] knob to tune the frequency (the frequency
range is among 87.5 ~ 108.0MHz, and step is 100KHZ).
Hold the [MONITOR/FM] key for over 2 seconds again or
press [PTT] button to exit FM radio mode.
