Using Your Phone with a
Polycom HDX System
When your SoundStation IP 7000 conference phone is connected to a
Polycom HDX system in an unsupported VoIP environment, you can manage
both audio-only calls and video calls from your phone. You can also manage
conference calls that can be a combination of audio-only (including audio from
mobile phones and computer calling applications) and video calls. In an
unsupported VoIP environment, you cannot place calls on hold, forward calls,
or transfer calls.
This guide describes how to use your phone when it is connected to a
Polycom HDX system in an unsupported VoIP environment, and how to use
the keys and soft keys on your phone to perform basic phone functions.
