PUMP DISASSEMBLY & STORAGE
1. Unplug the Pump from the power outlet.
2. For the Suction Fitting

: remove the RF Diverter

, and seal it with the Service Plug

3. Vent the Pump by slowly loosening the Vent Screw

4. Loosen all four Hose Clamps

, detach both the Hoses

, and drain any remaining water.
5. Clean and dry all parts, including the Cartridge.
6. Liberally lubricate the Vent Screw O-Ring

and Gasket Top

with petroleum jelly. Then reassemble them with the Vent Screw, Seal Top and Canister.
7. Put all the parts into an airtight plastic bag, and store in a dry place that remains above 32°F (0°C) at all times.

The most efficient way to troubleshoot or replace the Pump is to remove the entire Pump Motor Assembly

. The Motor is consisted of a Rotor Assembly

its related parts. If any of its parts is/are broken, or if it is not seated in place between the Volute Cover

and the Pump Body

, the Rotor will not function
properly even in perfect condition.
STEP 1: Removal of the Motor
