Why is my Polygroup Water Pump not cleaning the pool properly?
    • C
      Caitlin Miller MDAug 4, 2025
To address a Polygroup Water Pump not cleaning the pool effectively (cloudy or green water), ensure the chlorine level is between 1.0 and 1.6 ppm and the pH level is between 7.3 and 7.8. Additionally, inspect the filter cartridge for damage, cleaning or replacing it if necessary. Check for any obstructions in the suction and return hoses, and consider having your water tested at a pool supply store to determine if other chemicals are needed due to local water quality variations. Clean the pool and filter more often, as chemicals are essential for maintaining clean pool water.

What to do if there is no flow or slow water flow through the return hose of my Polygroup Water Pump?
    • C
      Charles ChangAug 11, 2025
If you're experiencing no flow or slow water flow through the return hose of your Polygroup Water Pump, first ensure the pool water level is adequate, with the suction fitting at least 4 inches underwater. Next, check for any obstructions in the suction and return hoses or fittings. Finally, examine the filter cartridge for dirt and clean or replace it as needed to ensure proper water flow.

How to troubleshoot a Polygroup Water Pump motor that fails to start?
    • J
      Jennifer AndrewsSep 12, 2025
If your Polygroup Water Pump motor fails to start or kicks on and off, first ensure the unit is plugged into a grounded 3-wire power outlet and that the GFCI is activated by pressing the reset button. If that doesn't work, reset the GFCI plug and/or circuit breaker. If the problem continues, have the circuit checked by a qualified electrician. Also, verify that the line voltage is within the range of 105 to 125 Volts A.C.
