  There are several reasons why your Polytropic Heat Pump might not be heating the pool water effectively. It could be that the heat pump is too small for the pool or the current season. Another potential cause is that the by-pass needs adjustments. Refer to the water setting chapter of this handbook for instructions. Finally, the absence of a pool cover can also slow down the heating process; installing a solar cover may resolve this issue.

What to do if there is no digital display ignition on my Polytropic Heat Pump?

  If your Polytropic Heat Pump's digital display isn't igniting, several factors could be at play. First, check if the relay is properly connected to terminals “1” and “5”; if not, connect or install the relay. For tri-phase heat pumps, a phase error might be the cause; try inverting two phases and checking again. Lastly, the LP pressure controller might have cut off; in this case, wait until the water temperature exceeds 15°C.
