AUTOSALT®/POOLSQUAD®/POOLSQUAD® AMPERO/PRO - PAPI004082 – FR/EN/ES/DE - Rev.03.16
CHECKING THE WATER PARAMETERS
When installing the device or at the beginning of any new season, it is imperative to check and correct all the
following points :
Clear, free from seaweeds and sediments.
Stabilized between 7,0 and 7,4
Important : whatever is the system of chemical process, the efficiency of the chlorine decreases
very quickly with the increase of the pH and the scale deposits appear all the more fast as the pH
rate is high or unstable.
For an Autosalt® or a standard Poolsquad® or Poolsquad® Pro: less than 35 ppm.
Important: The role of the stabilizer or isocyanurique acid is to protect the
chlorine from the effects of UV. A too important rate will have for consequence
to surround the disinfecting effect of the chlorine produced by the device. Lower
the rate of stabilizer in your pool by following the recommendations of your
professional.
For a Poolsquad ® Ampéro (chorine probe) : 0 ppm
It is imperative not to use stabilizer with free chlorine regulation of Poolsquad ®
Ampero (see § 5.5).
Greater than 1 particle by million (mg/l). If necessary, make a chlorination shock.
Be careful: the non compliance with these recommendations will involve inevitably a misuse of the device
which entails the annulation of guarantee.
Be careful with natural water sources (drilling waters)!
Preferably use water from the public water supply. Avoid using any water from natural sources (rain, run off water,
reservoirs, and wells) under risk of early deterioration of chlorinator cell.
ADDING SALT
✓ Ideal concentration of salt at the season’s start = 5 kg/m
3
.
✓ Starting up : salt quantity = 5 x the volume of the pool in cubic meter (m
3
).
✓ Salt adding : Quantity of salt to add (in kg)
✓ Salt type: with standard quality, salt in compliance with current legislation. You have not to use stabilized
salt with chlorine probe (Poolsquad ®Ampéro Model)
✓ Directly add the salt in the pool and let work the filtration manually during 8 hours (the device must be
switched off).
