  Your Porter-Cable Nail Gun might be jamming due to several reasons: you may be using incorrect or damaged fasteners, or the fasteners might be loaded incorrectly. Check if the fasteners are approved and of the correct size. Fastener fragments might be jammed in the nosepiece. Also, the magazine or nose screws might be loose, or the magazine could be dirty. In this case, tighten the screws and clean the magazine. A worn or damaged driver tip can also cause jams, and it may need replacement with Driver Maintenance Part # 60118.
