2.2.12 Connecting the ENV2 Environmental Probes
ENV2 probes are interfaced through a USB cable. Insert the USB connector into the USB-2 and USB-
3 slots of the PQube 3. You can connect up to 2 probes to your PQube 3.
Note: if necessary, the probe can be connected to the front USB-1 slot, but you cannot extract data
over USB while the probe is occupying this port.
You can verify the proper operation of the environmental probe by checking the meter on the
screen (see Chapter Operation”—touchscreenmeters).
2.2.13 Connecting the Output relay (RLY1)
Your PQube 3 comes with an embedded relay that you can trip on a number of power disturbances.
The list of triggering conditions can be found in the PQube 3 reference manual.
The RLY1 relay acts as a normally closed switch, which opens upon event detection for at least 3 seconds,
or for the duration of the event whatever is longer. The relay trips when the PQube 3 shuts down or
restarts.
