How to fix PowerTech Controller charging LED when it is OFF during the daytime?
    • J
      Jerome BrandtAug 6, 2025
If the charging LED is off on your PowerTech Controller during the day, even when sunlight is properly hitting the PV array, it could be due to an open-circuit in the PV array. Check the PV array connections to ensure they are correct and tight.

What to do if PowerTech MP3749 Controller battery frame and fault icon blink?
    • J
      Judy JonesAug 15, 2025
If the PowerTech Controller's battery frame and fault icon are blinking, it could be due to several reasons. First, the battery voltage might be too high. Verify if the battery voltage exceeds the OVD (over voltage disconnect voltage), and if it does, disconnect the PV array connection. Second, the battery might be over-discharged; in this case, the load will recover when the battery voltage reaches or exceeds the LVR (low voltage reconnect voltage). Third, the battery might be overheating; the controller will resume functioning once the battery temperature drops to 55°C or below.

Why my PowerTech Controller is not working when the wire connection is correct?
    • L
      Lauren HudsonAug 26, 2025
If your PowerTech Controller isn't working despite correct wire connections, it might be because the battery voltage is too low. Ensure the battery voltage is at least 8V to activate the controller.
