CAUTION: Make sure that the ribbon cable
moves freely between the crossbars before
tightening the screws. Cable pinched or
otherwise damaged by improper installation will
not be covered by the Precor limited warranty.

d Position the electronic console above the mounting plate. See Diagram 4. Align the
mounting holes and insert the four button head bolts (A) and tighten securely using the
hex key (E) provided.
e Replace the cover plate removed in step 3a. by aligning the mounting holes and inserting
the four philiips head screws. Tighten the screws securely using your screwdriver.
f. You are now ready to install the handrail/console assembly onto the base of the
treadmill. Ask for appropriate assistance and continue with the following steps,
4. Locate the power switch at the front of the treadmill. Make sure that the power switch is in the
OFF position and that the treadmill’s power cord is unplugged. Do not assemble the M9.41si
treadmill if it is plugged in.
5. Remove the treadmill’s hood using the hex key (F) provided. Unscrew all seven bolts and set
them aside. Stand at the front of the treadmill and pull up on the base of the hood to detach it
from the treadmill. Set the hood aside.

6. U se your philiips head screwdriver to remove the four screws that hold the front plate in
place. See Diagram 5, Lay the front plate on the floor in front of the treadmill and set the
screws aside.
