DOMESTIC HOT WATER CONNECTION
PRESTIGE EXCELLENCE
The Prestige Excellence boiler can be connected directly on the
domestic hot water circuit.
Flush out the system before connecting the domestic hot water
part.
The installation must be fitted with an approved safety unit with
a 6-bar safety valve, a non-return valve and a shut-off valve.
During the heating process, the domestic hot water dilates
and the pressure increases. As soon as the pressure exceeds
the safety valve setting, the valve opens and discharges a
small quantity of water. Using a hot water expansion vessel
(2 litres at least) will prevent this phenomenon and reduce water
hammer effect.
Drain the tank by opening a hot water tap.
Caution: the presence of air in the circuit usually causes noisy
air discharge effects.
