1. Set the required heating mode as described
in the previous sections, but do not start the
cooking process yet.
2. Press the “Microwave” sensor button
(14).
The display (16) also shows the indicator
and the power indicator 300 W. The power
indicator flashes.

3. If required, use the rotary switch (20) to
change the power (see “Appliance power
levels” on page EN-21). Possible values: 100
to 700 W.
4. Press the “Start” sensor button (19).
The appliance will start, the fan will switch
on and the time indicator will start to count
down.
When the time indicator reaches 00:00 , a
signal sounds five times and the appliance
switches off.
Preheating mode
This first preheats the cooking chamber of the
appliance to the set temperature. Then a sig-
nal sounds and the dish can be placed in the
cooking chamber.
Preheating is possible in the following heating
modes:
–
Convection
–
Grill with fan
Both can be used in combination with micro-
wave mode.
1. Set the required heating mode as described
in the previous sections, but
– do not place the food in the cooking
chamber yet;
– do not start the cooking process yet.
2. Press the “Quick heating” sensor button
(13).
The display (16) also shows the indicator

3. Now press the “Start” sensor button (19).
The appliance will start and the fan will
switch on. The time indicator in the dis-
play (16) stays at the set value.
4. When the set temperature is reached, three
short signals sound and the indicator
flashes.
5. Open the cooking chamber door (3).
The indicator will go out.
6. Carefully place the food in the hot cooking
chamber and close the cooking chamber
door again.
7. Press the “Start” sensor button (19).
The appliance will start in the set heating
mode and the time indicator will start to
count down.
When the time indicator reaches 00:00, a
signal sounds five times and the appliance
switches off.
Preheating is only available if a
heating mode has been previously
set.
The microwave function is not active during
preheating.
Cancelling preheating
• Press the “Quick heating” sensor button
(13),
or
• press the “Pause/stop” sensor button
(15).
or
• open the cooking chamber door (3).
