Care and maintenance
WARNING
Health hazard!
The inappropriate use of this appliance
can lead to damage to your health!
The oven should be cleaned regularly
and any food deposits removed.
Failure to maintain the oven in a cle-
an condition could lead to deteriora-
tion of the surface that could adver-
sely affect the life of the appliance
and possibly result in a hazardous si-
tuation.
Risk of electric shock!
Isolate the fuse and pull out the
mains plug before cleaning. Always
take hold of the plug itself, do not pull
on the mains cord.
Ensure that no cleaning water or
other liquids can penetrate the ven-
tilation slits or the electrical compo-
nents.
Do not use a steam or high-pressu-
re cleaner. Steam could get into live
components through cracks.
Risk of burns!
The housing becomes hot during opera-
tion, especially in the area of the vents.
The containers can also get very hot
due to the foods. After use in grill, con-
vection or microwave-combi mode, the
grill (at the top of the cooking chamber)
will be very hot.
Allow the appliance to completely
cool down before cleaning.
NOTICE
The surfaces and door seals can get da-
maged by improper handling.
Never use harsh, soda, acid, solvent
or abrasive cleaners. All-purpose clea-
ners with a neutral pH are recommen-
ded.
Use care products only on the outer
surfaces.
The door seals are sensitive to oil and
grease – making the rubber porous
and brittle.
Only use soft cloths.
If possible, clean the appliance after each use
before any dirt can dry.
Clean the grill racks (9) and (10) as well as
the roller ring (8) by hand with mild deter-
gent.
The turntable (7) can be cleaned in a dis-
hwasher.
Clean the appliance, especially the floor of
the cooking chamber and the door seals,
with a damp, soft cloth. Use warm water
and a standard all-purpose detergent or
washing-up liquid and a soft sponge or clo-
th.
Dissolve stubborn dirt with an undiluted
all-purpose cleaner.
Wipe off all surfaces after cleaning with a
dry, soft cloth.
Leave the cooking chamber door (3) open
in order to allow the cooking chamber to dry
out completely.
