WARNING
Microwave hazard!
Microwaves can be emitted if the coo-
king chamber door is insuffi ciently se-
aled when closed. Under such circum-
stances, the appliance may not be used.
■ If the door or door seals are dama-
ged, the oven must not be operated
until it has been repaired by a com-
petent person.
■ It is hazardous for anyone other than
a competent person to carry out any
service or repair operation that invol-
ves the removal of a cover which gi-
ves protection against exposure to
microwave energy.
■ Pay particular attention to the clean-
liness of the door seals and door seal
faces along with all adjacent parts.
• For your own safety, check regularly that
the appliance is intact:
– Are the mains cable and plug undama-
ged?
– Is the housing and viewing panel (4) un-
damaged?
– Is the turntable (7) undamaged?
– Are the door seal faces clean?
– Can the door hinges move freely?
– Are both hooks for the locking system
(5) undamaged?
– Does the door close properly? Or is it
warped?
• A defective interior light may only be repai-
red by an authorised professional.
The bulb is not located under the
cover inside the cooking chamber!
Never unscrew or damage this co-
ver! It serves to protect the magnetron,
which emits the microwaves.
