Connection
• Check that the connection voltage of the
appliance corresponds to the mains voltage
in your home (see type plate on the back of
the appliance).
• Please ensure you only connect the appli-
ance to a professionally installed protective
contact socket with sufficient fuse protecti-
on (230 V~/50 Hz/16 A).
• Do not use multiplugs or extension cables.
• Connect the mains plug to a suitable so-
cket.
After connection, a beep will sound and the
display will show a flashing
00:00
(see „Clock“
on page EN-18).
Cleaning before use
The appliance should be cleaned before first
use, for example, to ensure that packaging
remnants will not negatively affect the tas-
te of food (see „Care and maintenance“ on
page EN-31).
First-time use
A slight odour may be produced when the tu-
bular heating elements are used for the first
time. This is non-toxic and disappears after a
short moment.
1. Empty the cooking chamber completely
and vacuum or blow it out.
2. Heat the appliance or 10 minutes at 200 °C
in convection mode
