■ The appliance is heavy and bulky. Get
another person to help with moving
and installation.
■ Do not use the cooking chamber door
and door handle as a step or for lif-
ting.

Improper handling of the microwave
may result in damage or cause a fi re.
Heat trapped inside the appliance may
shorten its service life.
■ Ensure suffi cient ventilation. Do not
cover the vents, for example with
oven mitts or cookery books!
■ When installing the appliance, follow
the dimension specifi cations for ven-
tilation.

■ Do not use sharp objects to unpack
the appliance.
■ Never remove the cover inside the
cooking chamber! It serves to pro-
tect the magnetron, which emits the
microwaves.
Moving and unpacking
• Move the appliance using a trolley or with
the help of a second person.
• Carefully unpack the device and remove all
packaging items, plastic profiles, adhesive
strips and foam padding from inside, outs-
ide and from the back plate of the device.
Setting up the appliance
The appliance can be placed on a cabinet or
a worktop. The following conditions must be
met:
– The minimum installation height is 85 cm.
– Clearance for ventilation:
– above the appliance: 30 cm.
– to the right and left of the appliance: 20
cm.
– The back of the appliance can be placed
directly against a wall.
– Do not remove the feet under the appliance.
– There must be an earthed socket instal-
led in the immediate surroundings (see
„Connection“ on page EN-35).
– The appliance should not be placed direc-
tly beside a refrigerator or freezer. Heat
loss unnecessarily increases their energy
consumption.
– Do not place the appliance directly above
a heat-generating appliance (e.g. oven or
radiator).
– There must be a minimum spacing of 2 m
from radio devices, televisions, etc. to ensu-
re that the reception is not distorted.
