How to turn on Pro-Form Treadmill?
    • J
      Juan KimAug 1, 2025
First, ensure the power cord of your Pro-Form Treadmill is properly plugged into a grounded outlet. If needed, use a 3-conductor, 14-gauge extension cord no longer than 5 feet. Note that GFCI outlets are not compatible with the treadmill. Also, ensure the key is fully inserted into the console. Check the circuit breaker near the power cord; if it's tripped (protruding switch), wait five minutes, then press it back in to reset it. Finally, verify the on/off switch near the power cord is in the 'on' position.

      Michael HansonAug 15, 2025
If the walking belt on your Pro-Form Treadmill slows down when you walk on it, ensure you're using an appropriate extension cord, if needed—it should be a 3-conductor, 14-gauge cord no longer than 5 feet. Also, check the belt tightness: unplug the treadmill and remove the key. Turn both rear roller adjustment bolts counterclockwise 1/4 turn. Properly tightened, you should be able to lift each side of the belt 3–4 inches. Plug the treadmill back in, insert the key, and test.

What to do if displays of the console do not function properly Pro-Form Treadmill?
    • L
      lauren73Aug 23, 2025
If the console displays on your Pro-Form Treadmill aren't functioning correctly, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Carefully pivot the hood off. Locate the reed switch and magnet on the left side of the pulley. Turn the pulley until the magnet aligns with the reed switch, ensuring they're about 3 mm (1/8 inch) apart. If needed, loosen the screw and adjust the reed switch slightly, then retighten the screw. Re-attach the hood, and run the treadmill to check the speed reading.
