CLOCK BATTERY REPLACEMENT
The internal clock is equipped with a long time discharge LITHIUM battery, in
order to keep running also when the unti is switched off. The discharge time
may be more than 2 years and the battery status is showed on the display. In the
figure on the left the bar inside the battery shows that it is completely charge.
When it will be completely empty the battery must be replaced as follow:
0. USE A CR2477 LITHIUM BATTERY FOR REPLACEMENT.
1. DISCONNECT THE PC260 FROM THE MAINS LINE OUTLET.
2. OPEN THE PC260 REMOVING THE SCREWS SHOWN IN THE FIGURE:
3. LOCATE THE BATTERY (IT IS THE SILVER BOTTON ON THE REAR SIDE).
4. REMOVE THE OLD BATTERY (USE A PLASTIC TOOL TO LIFT UP THE POSITIVE CONTACT).
5. PLACE THE NEW BATTERY INSTEAD THE OLD ONE:
IMPORTANT AT THIS POINT ALWAYS FOLLOW CAREFULLY THESE TWO STEPS IN ORDER TO AVOID ABNORMAL CONSUMPTION OF
THE BATTERY
6. SWITCH ON THE PC260 AND WAIT SOME SECONDS UNTIL THE DISPLAY SHOWS THE INITIAL PAGE.
7. SWITCH OFF, WAIT 2 SECONDS THEN SWITCH ON AGAIN.
BE CAREFUL
DANGER OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERY IS INCORRECTLY REPLACED.
REPLACE ONLY WITH SAME TYPE: CR 2477 LITHIUM MANGANESE DIOXIDE BATTERY.
The battery contains Perchlorate Material – special handling may apply,
it should not be disposed with other household wastes at
the end of its working life. To prevent possible harm to the enviroment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, please separate
this from other types of wastes and recycle it.
