What to do if my ProForm Treadmill power does not turn on?
    • J
      Joel ButlerJul 31, 2025
First, ensure the power cord is plugged into a surge suppressor, and the surge suppressor is properly grounded, using a single-outlet surge suppressor meeting the specifications. Note that the treadmill isn't compatible with GFCI-equipped outlets. Also, make sure the key is inserted into the console. Finally, check the reset/off circuit breaker on the treadmill frame near the power cord; if it protrudes, the breaker has tripped. Wait five minutes, then press the switch back in to reset it.

Why does my ProForm Treadmill power turn off during use?
    • B
      brennankarenAug 5, 2025
The treadmill may be turning off during use due to a tripped circuit breaker. Check the circuit breaker located on the treadmill frame near the power cord. If the circuit breaker has tripped, wait five minutes and then press the switch back in. Also, ensure the power cord is securely plugged in; if it is, unplug it, wait five minutes, and plug it back in. Another potential solution is to remove and reinsert the key from the console.

What to do if ProForm 831.24623.0 Treadmill walking belt is off-center or slips?
    • K
      Kimberly SmithAug 12, 2025
If the walking belt is off-center, remove the key and unplug the power cord. If the belt has shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn; if it has shifted right, turn the bolt counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until centered. If the belt slips, remove the key and unplug the power cord. Turn both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn. When correctly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the belt 2 to 3 inches off the platform. Keep the belt centered. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and carefully walk on the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened.

Use the hex key to turn both rear roller bolts counterclockwise 1/4 of a turn. When properly tightened, you should be able to lift each edge of the walking belt 2 to 3 inches off the walking platform. Keep the walking belt centered. Then, plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes, repeating until properly tightened.

How to stop ProForm 831.24623.0 upper body arms squeaking?
    • K
      Kristin JacobsAug 23, 2025
To correct the squeaking, you'll need a small amount of white marine grease. Remove the Resistance Cone and the Upper Body Arm, along with the Resistance Plate, Washers, Spring Washer, Thrust Washers, and Thrust Bearing. Apply a thin layer of white marine grease to the outer surface of the Resistance Cone. Then, reattach all parts in the order shown.
