Optional Inverter/charger:
There is a 30amp twist lock plug located on the Drivers side of the unit, near the front (see picture). Use
the provided power cord that is wrapped around the cable wrap to connected the female end to the unit
and the male end to shore power.
Make sure the inverter in on.
o Open the control box door in the back of the unit.
o Push and hold the power button on the inverter/charger controller come on
Once on the charger will start charging the battery bank.
Notes:
Batteries must be recharged routinely either by solar and wind power or by the
back-up electric AC battery charger.
Batteries should not be charged with an AC battery charger when the batteries are
frozen.
Batteries are typically more efficient (charge faster) but provide less battery
capacity during low temperatures.
Batteries typically recharge more quickly when the depth of discharge is kept to a
minimum (20-50%) instead of a deep discharge of 60-100%.
