10. Before removing the lter holder, allow the appliance to cool for at least 5
minutes.
11. Turn the lter holder handle to the left to remove the lter holder.
12. Discard used espresso grounds. Allow the lter holder and lter to cool
thoroughly before touching.
13. Wash both the lter holder and lter with a soft cloth or brush in warm
soapy water. Rinse them well.
OVERHEATING AND OVERPRESSURE PROTECTION
Your appliance has a double safety system to protect the appliance from
overheating and overpressure.
• In case that the appliance has overheated, it will stop working. Unplug it and
let it cool before using it again.
• The appliance is equipped with a safety valve. The safety valve will release
the steam pressure from the boiler if the pressure switch fails to cut o the
element.
