Operating Modes
The appliance has two operating modes: Timer mode and Demand Delayed mode. Both modes are equipped
with Capacity Guard
®
, which ensures that a supply of conditioned water will be available even with excessive
water usage.
Mode 1—Timer Mode
When the appliance is in Timer mode, it will regenerate based on the frequency that is set, for example every
day or up to every 12 days. The time of regeneration can be set.
Mode 2—Demand Delayed Mode
When the appliance is in Demand Delayed mode, it will regenerate based on the actual water usage and the
total capacity of the appliance. The time that the regeneration takes place can be set, for example 2:00 AM.
Should the total capacity be depleted before the set regeneration time, a forced regeneration will occur.
72–96 Hour Regeneration
If this value is set to Yes, the appliance will be forced to regenerate every 72–96 hours unless a regeneration
based on water usage occurs within the time interval. The value should always be set to Yes if iron is present in
the water.
