Thin plastic covering for directing airow from fans
backplane
A circuit board that serves as an extension to the system board. QNAP backplanes typically contain
slots for connecting hard disk drives and solid-state drives with the use of drive trays.

system boards, backplanes, and riser cards.

An enclosure with slots for inserting and securing drive trays
