All drives have four LEDs on the front panel. The LED colors and
functions are as follows:

Power LED (green)
•
Activity LED (green)
•
Error LED (orange)
•
Status LED (amber)
The
Activity, Error, and Status LEDs blink or go on to indicate information
about the tape drive, see Blink Codes
