Indicates the exposure mA current
is out of range.
1. Verify that generator is properly
calibrated.
2. Check if current on standby is
approximately 2.5 amps. If not,
replace KVP Control Board A2
(AY40-003S). If problem persists,
replace Filament Control Board A5
(AY40-007T). Replace Logic
Board A1 (AY40-006S) if problem
is still not corrected.
3. On KVP Control Board A2, con-
nect oscilloscope probe to test
point A2TP7 to verify correct tube
current waveform. The current
waveform should indicate 1V/100
mA. If waveform is close to mA
setting, re-calibrate generator. If
waveform is zero, replace KVP
Control Board A2. If problem per-
sists, replace H.V. Transformer
A17 (AY20-031 on 125 kVp sys-
tem, or AY20-032 on 150 kVp sys-
tem).
