7. To view a report, connect the unit to the Com port selected in
step 4 above using the “Y” serial interface cable (Included in
kit).
8. With the unit turned on and displaying the main screen, press
the t key. The following menu will appear:

9. Press RECORD. The following menu will appear:
t/u For Choices
RECORD Selects
***** Clear Data *****
Press ON/OFF To Exit
10. Press the up and down arrow keys until the third line of text
reads “****** Print ******”. Press RECORD to select. If more
than one session has been recorded, Use the up and down
arrow keys to select the test you wish to view.
11. To view the test in Hyperterminal, press the RECORD key
Hard Copy (Printing a Report)
To store data on the computer so it can be retrieved later, or to print
the data to the computer’s printer, proceed as follows:
1. Set up Hyperterminal as shown above. Pull down the transfer
menu. Select “Capture Text”.
2. The program will prompt for a file name. After filling in the name
click on Start. At this point, all information sent to
Hyperterminal will be displayed, as well as “captured” to this file.
3. When you are finished, pull down the Transfer menu again.
Under capture, select stop. At this point, the file created can be
loaded into a text editor or word processor, edited and printed
out as required.
