On-site ventilation: When installing an exhaust hood, observe the
following:
> VDI Directive 2052 and local construction
authority regulations on exhaust hoods.
The exhaust hood should protrude 300-500
mm over the front of the device.
> Install the device underneath an exhaust hood
if using a VarioSmoker.
> Install a grease filter into the protruding part
of the exhaust hood.
