What to do if the Rational Oven shows a flashing water valve symbol?
    • R
      Ronald HallJul 25, 2025
If your Rational Oven displays a flashing water valve symbol, it indicates a low water level. This could be due to a closed water valve or a clogged water intake filter. First, ensure the water valve is open. If the problem persists, inspect and clean the filter by closing the water valve, unscrewing the water intake on the unit, removing and cleaning the filter, reinserting the filter, connecting the water intake, and checking for leaks.

Why is water running out of the bottom of my Rational Oven?
    • W
      wjonesAug 2, 2025
Water leaking from the bottom of your Rational Oven can be due to the unit not being level or a blocked drain. Correct this by leveling the unit using a spirit level. Also, remove and clean the outlet (HT pipe) on the back of the unit. Regular cleaning with CleanJet® is recommended. Blockages can occur if products with a high proportion of fat are cooked frequently or if the drop on the outlet pipe is too shallow. To remedy: Run the outlet pipe as described in the installation instructions.

How to fix water dripping from the Rational Oven door?
    • B
      bmcdonaldAug 9, 2025
If water is dripping from your Rational Oven's door, it could be that the door isn't closed correctly or the door seal is damaged. Ensure the door is properly closed; the door handle should point down on floor units. If the issue continues, the door seal may be worn or damaged and needs replacement. Clean the door seal thoroughly with a damp cloth at the end of production. If you cook lots of grilled products, clean the door seal with a damp cloth between cycles. If the unit is to be operated for a long time without products, we recommend that the cooking cabinet temperature should not exceed 180 °C.

How to stop noise in the Rational Oven cooking cabinet?
    • K
      Kristin LangAug 17, 2025
If you hear noise in the cooking cabinet of your Rational Oven while it's in use, the air baffles or grid shelves may not be correctly fixed. Ensure that the air baffles and grid shelves are properly secured inside the cooking cabinet.
