Why does my Raven Cruizer show no GPS signal?

  If your Raven Cruizer console displays a yellow or red GPS status, it indicates a problem with the GPS signal. Try these steps: * Check the antenna cable connections at both the Cruizer console and the antenna, and tighten any loose connections. * Verify the antenna port on the back of the Cruizer console has a 5V signal. Use the metal surround of the antenna port as ground. If using a helix style antenna, connect the antenna cable and test voltage at the antenna end. * Make sure the antenna has a clear 360° view of the sky, free from obstructions like buildings, trees, and other objects that could interfere with reception.

What to do if my Raven Boating Equipment Cruizer does not start up when powered on?

  If your Raven Cruizer console fails to start when powered on, here are a couple of things to check: * First, ensure that the Cruizer console is receiving +12V DC. If the console turns on but doesn't start properly or the screen is partially blank, make sure the voltage to the system is between +9.5V DC and +15V DC. * Also, check the Accessory Power Adaptor Plug. The LED on the plug should light up green when inserted. If it doesn't, ensure the plug is fully inserted into the machine’s accessory port or cigarette lighter. Inspect the fuse in the Adaptor Plug and replace it if needed.

  If the touch screen on your Raven Cruizer console isn't powering up correctly or responding to touch, you can try the following: * Turn the Cruizer console power off, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on. When the Cruizer logo appears, touch the screen to start the recalibration process. Follow the on-screen instructions, and after the last mark appears, double tap the screen to accept the touch screen configuration. * Alternatively, toggle the power switch to power off the Cruizer console. Restart the console and retry touch commands.

What to do if Raven Cruizer Boating Equipment field boundary recording never finishes?

  If the field boundary recording on your Raven equipment never finishes, or the recorded shape is incorrect, remember that after starting the recording, you must either press stop to complete the boundary or drive back to the boundary starting point. If you press stop more than one boom length from the end of the boundary, the field boundary will automatically complete in a straight line from the boundary start to your current location.

  If your Raven's screen isn't recording path history, here's what you should check: * If you're using a boom toggle switch, go to the Tools Menu and verify that Hardware is checked under System Switch. * If you're not using a boom toggle switch, touch the appropriate icon to toggle the history recording On or Off.

  Raven Cruizer consoles need to be authorized for their operating region (North/South Americas, Europe, Asia, Africa, or Australia). If you get an 'Unauthorized Region' error, contact a local Raven dealer to authorize the console for the correct region.
