fromtheGlobalPositioningSystem(GPS)whichmaycontain
errors.Raymarinedoesnotwarranttheaccuracyofsuch
informationandyouareadvisedthaterrorsinsuchinformation
maycausetheproducttomalfunction.Raymarineisnot
responsiblefordamagesorinjuriescausedbyyouruseor
inabilitytousetheproduct,bytheinteractionoftheproductwith
productsmanufacturedbyothers,orbyerrorsinchartdataor
informationutilizedbytheproductandsuppliedbythirdparties.

Memorycardsareusedforarchivingdataandchartcards
provideadditionalorupgradedcharts.

•microSecureDigitalStandard-Capacity(microSDSC)
•microSecureDigitalHigh-Capacity(microSDHC)
Note:Themaximumcardcapacitysupportedis32GB.
Chartcards
Yourproductispre-loadedwithelectroniccharts(worldwide
basemap).Ifyouwishtousedifferentchartdata,youcaninsert
compatiblechartcardsintotheunit'scardslot.
Usebrandedchartcardsandmemorycards
Whenarchivingdata,Raymarinerecommendstheuseofquality
brandedmemorycards.Somebrandsofmemorycardmaynot
workinyourunit.Pleasecontactcustomersupportforalist
ofrecommendedcards.
EMCinstallationguidelines
Raymarineequipmentandaccessoriesconformtothe
appropriateElectromagneticCompatibility(EMC)regulations,
tominimizeelectromagneticinterferencebetweenequipment
andminimizetheeffectsuchinterferencecouldhaveonthe
performanceofyoursystem
CorrectinstallationisrequiredtoensurethatEMCperformance
isnotcompromised.
ForoptimumEMCperformancewerecommendthatwherever
possible:
•Raymarineequipmentandcablesconnectedtoitare:
–Atleast1m(3ft)fromanyequipmenttransmittingor
cablescarryingradiosignalse.g.VHFradios,cablesand
antennas.InthecaseofSSBradios,thedistanceshould
beincreasedto7ft(2m).
–Morethan2m(7ft)fromthepathofaradarbeam.A
radarbeamcannormallybeassumedtospread20degrees
aboveandbelowtheradiatingelement.
•Theproductissuppliedfromaseparatebatteryfromthatused
forenginestart.Thisisimportanttopreventerraticbehavior
anddatalosswhichcanoccuriftheenginestartdoesnot
haveaseparatebattery.
•Raymarinespeciedcablesareused.
•Cablesarenotcutorextended,unlessdoingsoisdetailedin
theinstallationmanual.
Note:Whereconstraintsontheinstallationprevent
anyoftheaboverecommendations,alwaysensurethe
maximumpossibleseparationbetweendifferentitemsof
electricalequipment,toprovidethebestconditionsforEMC
performancethroughouttheinstallation
RFexposure
ThistransmitterwithitsantennaisdesignedtocomplywithFCC
/ICRFexposurelimitsforgeneralpopulation/uncontrolled
exposure.TheWiFi/Bluetoothantennaismountedbehindthe
frontfaciaonthelefthandsideofthescreen.Itisrecommended
tomaintainasafedistanceofatleast1cmfromthelefthand
sideofthescreen.

againstharmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation.This
equipmentgenerates,uses,andcanradiateradiofrequency
energyand,ifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewith
theinstructions,maycauseharmfulinterferencetoradio
communications.However,thereisnoguaranteethat
interferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthis
equipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevision
reception,whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoff
andon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterference
byoneofthefollowingmeasures:
