Youcanuseyourmultifunctiondisplaytocontrolyourautopilot.
Note:Forinformationonconnectingyourmultifunctiondisplay
toaRaymarineautopilotsystem,refertothedocumentation
thataccompaniedyourautopilot.
WiththeAutopilotControlfunctionenabled,youcanuseyour
multifunctiondisplayto:
•Engagetheautopilotandinstructittofollowaroute,ora
waypoint.
•Disengagetheautopilot.
•Silencethewaypointarrivalalarm.

ThePilotControldialogisdisplayedinthefollowingsituations:
•WhenyouselectMenu>Navigate>GotoWaypoint,Goto
CursororFollowRouteoptioninthechartapplication.
•WhenyouselectGotoWaypointorGotoCursorusingthe
chartcontextmenu.
•Whenyouplacethecursoroveranactiverouteorwaypoint
onthechartandselectStopGoto,StopFolloworAdvance
Waypointfromthecontextmenu.
•Whenyouarefollowingarouteorgoingtoawaypointor
cursorposition,andselectMenu>Navigate>StopGoto,
StopFollow,orAdvanceWaypoint.
•Whenyouarriveatatargetwaypoint.
Note:
Whenarrivingatawaypoint,thedialogtitlebarturnsredto
indicatewaypointarrival.
Enablingtheautopilotcontrolfunction
Fromthehomescreen:
1.SelectSet-up.
2.SelectSystemSettings.
3.SelectAutopilotControlsothatOnishighlighted.
SelectingAutopilotControlwillswitchthecontrolbetween
OnandOff.
Disengagingtheautopilotusingthe
shortcutsmenu
Onmultifunctiondisplayswhichdonothaveadedicatedpilot
button(i.e.a65,a67,e7ande7D)youcandisengagethe
autopilotfromtheShortcutsmenu.
Withtheautopilotengaged:
1.PressandreleasethePOWERbutton.
2.SelectDisengagePilot.
Theautopilotisdisengaged,andputintostandbymode.
Disengagingtheautopilotusingthepilot
button
Onmultifunctiondisplayswhichhaveadedicatedpilotbutton
(i.e.NewcSeriesandNeweSeriesdisplays,excludingthee7
ande7D)youcandisengagetheautopilotusingthededicated
Pilotbutton.
Withtheautopilotengaged:
1.PressthePilotbutton.
Theautopilotisdisengaged,andputintostandbymode.
Disengagingtheautopilotfromthechart
application
Onallmultifunctiondisplayvariantstheautopilotcanbe
disengagedfromthechartapplication’smenu.
Inthechartapplicationwiththeautopilotengaged:
1.SelectMenu>Navigate>StopGotoorStopFollow.
ThePilotControldialogisdisplayed.
2.SelectSTANDBY.
Theautopilotisdisengaged,andputinstandbymode.
Engagingtheautopilotusingtheshortcuts
menu
Onmultifunctiondisplayswhichdonothaveadedicatedpilot
button(i.e.a65,a67,e7ande7D)youcanengagetheautopilot
fromtheShortcutsmenu.
Withtheautopilotengaged:
1.PressandreleasethePOWERbutton.
2.SelectEngagePilot.
Theautopilotisengaged.
Engagingtheautopilotusingthepilot
