How to check Raymarine HYPERVISIONT HV-300 Transducer power source?
    • K
      karen32Aug 4, 2025
If you suspect the power source is insufficient for your Raymarine Transducer, check the power supply voltage as close to the unit as possible using a multi-meter while the product is under load. This will help you determine the actual voltage when current is flowing. Refer to your product’s technical specification for power supply requirements.

    • J
      Joseph WestAug 19, 2025
If you're experiencing a poor or problematic image on your Raymarine Transducer, consider the following: * Targets will appear differently if your vessel is stationary, so increase vessel speed. * If scrolling is paused or the speed is set too low, unpause or increase the sonar scrolling speed. * Sensitivity settings may be inappropriate for the current conditions. Check and adjust sensitivity settings or perform a Sonar reset.

      Elizabeth AndersonAug 26, 2025
If your Raymarine Transducer shows no depth reading or loses bottom lock, consider these potential causes: * **Transducer location:** Ensure the transducer has been installed according to the instructions provided with it. * **Transducer angle:** If the transducer angle is too great, the beam can miss the bottom. Adjust the transducer angle and recheck. * **Transducer kicked-up:** If your transducer has a kick-up mechanism, make sure it hasn't kicked up due to hitting an object.

If the scrolling image is not being displayed on your Raymarine Transducer, there might be several reasons: 1. Sonar might be disabled. To solve this, enable Ping from the Sonar app’s sounder tab by going to Menu > Settings > Sounder > Ping. 2. The wrong transducer might be selected. Verify the correct transducer is selected in the Sonar app’s Transducer tab: Menu > Settings > Transducer > Ping. 3. Cables could be damaged. Check the transducer cable connector is fully inserted and locked. Inspect the power supply cable and connectors for damage or corrosion, replacing if needed. Flex the cable near the display connector to see if it causes issues, and replace if necessary. Also, check the vessel’s battery voltage and the condition of terminals and power supply cables, ensuring secure, ...
