Connectcompatibletransducer/Ensurethatthetransducercableconnectorisfullyinserted
andlockedinpositionandrebootthedisplay.
W rongtransducerselected
Transducerselectionisperformedaspartoftheinitialstartupwizard,ifanincorrecttransducer
wasselectedthenthe‘Notransducerconnected’messageisdisplayedeachtimeanewinstance
oftheFishfinderappisopened.toviewtheFishfinderimage,presstheMenubuttonandselect
thefishfinderchannelyouwanttoview.
Topreventfurther‘Notransducerconnected’warningsperformafactoryresetandensurethe
correcttransducerisselectedfromthebottomoftheBoatdetailspageofthestartupwizard.
Damageddisplayconnector
Checkthatthetransducerconnectorpinsonthebackofthedisplayarenotbentorbrok en/
missing.Ifdamageisdetectedreplacethedisplayorsendittoanauthorizedserviceagent
forrepair.
Damagedtransducerorcable
1.Checkthatthetransducercableconnectorisfreefromdamage ,iscorrectlyorientatedand
fullyinsertedintothedisplayandthattheconnectorislockedinposition.Ifdamageis
detected,replacethetransducer.
2.Checktheconditionofthetransducerandcablingforsignsofdamage.Ifdamageisdetected,
replacethetransducer.
W rongtransducerfittedCheckproductandtransducerdocumentationandensurethatthetransduceriscompatiblewith
yoursystem.Replacewithacompatibletransducer,ifnecessary.
Scrollingimageisnotbeingdisplayedorisintermittent
P ossiblecausesPossiblesolutions
SonarpingdisabledEnablesonarpingfromtheshortcutspagebypressingthe[P ower]buttonandenabling[Sonar
ping].
T ransducerlocation
Checkthatthetransducerhasbeeninstalledinaccordancewiththeinstructionsprovidedwith
thetransducer.
Thetransducermustbeinstalledwhereitis,alwayssubmerged,isparalleltothewaterlineand
inanareafreefromturbulenceandaeration.
