TheSmartPilotactivatestheWaypointAdvancewarningintrack
modewheneverthetargetwaypointnamechanges.Thisoccurs
when:
•youselectautomaticacquisitionbypressingTRACKfromAuto.
•yourequestwaypointadvancebypressingTRACKfor1second
intrackmode(withSeaT alknavigatorsonly).
•theboatarrivesatthetargetandthenavigatoracceptsthenext
waypoint.
•youactivatetheManOverboard(MOB)function.
Whenthewarningsounds,theSmartPilotcontinuesonitscurrent
headingbutdisplays:
•thebearingtothenextwaypoint.
•thedirectiontheboatwillturntotakeupthatbearing.
Arrivingatawaypoint
Asyouapproacheachwaypoint,analarmsoundsandaTrack
modepopupisdisplayed:
1.Checkthatitissafetoturnontothenewheading,i.e.the
coursetothenextwaypoint.IfitisNOTsafe,pressCANCELto
returntothepreviousscreenandresumethepreviouscourse.
2.alternatively,youcancancelthewarningwithoutacceptingthe
waypointadvancebypressing:
•AUTOtocontinueonthesameheading,or
•STANDBYtoreturntomanualcontrol.
3.Ifitissafetoapplythenewcourse,pressTRACKagainto
acceptthenewheadingandproceedtothenextwaypoint.
