Withgybeinhibiton:
•youwillbeabletoperformanAutoT ackthroughthewind.
•theautopilotwillpreventtheboatfromperforminganAutoT ack
awayfromthewind,topreventaccidentalgybes.
Withgybeinhibitoff:
•youcanperformanAutoT ackthroughorawayfromthewind.
Note:Gybeinhibitisswitchedonasadefaultbutcanbe
disabledintheSailboatsettingsmenu:Mainmenu>Setup>
Autopilotcalibration>Sailboatsettings.

Powersteermodeenablesyoutousetherotarycontrollerofthe
p70roraconnectedjoysticktodirectlysteerthevesselonmanual
heading.
Powersteerhas2options:
•Proportional
—Therudderwillbehaveinproportiontothemovementofthe
rotarycontrolorjoystick.
•BangBang(Joystickonly)
—Therudderwillmove,andstayinthedirectionthejoystick
ismoved.
Engagingpowersteermode
ToengagePowersteermode:
1.GototheModemenufoundinMainmenu>Mode.
2.HighlightPowersteerandpressSELECT.
Youcanchangethetypeofsteeringatanytimei.e.Proportional
orBangBangbygoingtothePowersteersettingsintheDrive
settingsmenu:Mainmenu>Setup>Autopilotcalibration>
Drivesettings>Powersteer.
Note:InordertouseBangBangmodeaconnectedjoystickis
required,thep70rrotarywillonlyperforminProportionalmode.
