5.1 Controls of the STG
General
The STG works with an active HIGH level. This means that +24 V must be present to activate the
function. Safety inputs will be activated in case of an interruption.
The basic signal (0 V) is connected to the protective earth.
Jumper
J13: CAN line termination
J14: Primary / Secondary
Jumper in position M1 for Primary (default setting)
Jumper in position S1 for Secondary
Light-emitting diodes
LD1: (red) Control LED for button operation (S1)
LD2: (green) +35V
Lights up if +35 V present from NET.
Dark if power failure has occurred
LD3: (green) +24V
Lights up if +24 V is present.
Caution: If there is a power failure, the processor reset occurs 1 second after the LED goes
out.
Button (S1)
This is a multifunction button (MF).
IMPORTANT
This button may only be used by trained and authorised persons.
