Walk-Around Inspection Components
NOTE: On all components, make sure there are no loose or missing parts and that everything is securely
fastened. Make sure that there is no visible damage or excessive wear.
1. Locking Pins - Check for any debris stuck to or around the locking pins.
Make sure the locking pins are working properly and engage freely. (See
Figure 2-2)
2. Spreader - Check for bent parts or missing hardware. Make sure spreader
folds out at and functions properly. (See Figure 2-2)
3. Rubber Feet - Check for cracks or tears. (See Figure 2-2)
4. Hinge Mount - Check all four hinge mount brackets to ensure they are
straight. (See Figure 2-2)
