Makesurethatthescrews,whicharemountedfrombelow,haveacountersunkheadandarethereforeushwiththe
chassis plate.
Assembly drawing 10:
Among the screws, which are screwed into the chassis from below, ten screws have a countersunk head and one
screw has a round head. Make sure that the round-head screw is mounted in the right place.
The screws contained in the C - 3 bag are used for the assembly of the cardan shaft cover. The cover will
be assembled at a later assembly stage.
Assembly drawing 11:
Tighten the two grub screws shown in drawing 11 only as far as necessary to secure the chassis mount. Later, when
adjusting the chassis, adjust the height of the mount and tighten it securely. The two upper suspension arms (C) are
already assembled.
Assembly drawing 12:
First,usethetwoshortscrews(M3x10)toattachtheshockabsorberbridgetothedifferentialcasing.Butdonot
tighten the screws yet. Before mounting the upper suspension arms, compare the length of the two suspension arms.
Thesuspensionarmsmustbeexactlythesamelengthsoastoensurethesamecamberonbothrearwheels.When
installing the suspension arms, tighten all screws securely.
Assembly drawing 13:
When assembling the steering knuckles, make sure that there are two of them: right (R) and left (L). This must be
consideredduringassemblyatthenextassemblystage.
Assembly drawing 14:
Firstsecurelytightenthesteeringknuckleatthebottomandthenmountthecardanshaft.Thentheupperxingscrew
can be mounted.
Assembly drawings 15 and 16:
Thetwoguresshowtheschematiclayoutoftheshockabsorbers.Theshockabsorbersaredeliveredcompletely
assembled.
Assembly drawing 17:
When installing the shock absorbers, make sure that the spacer sleeve (D) is mounted between the shock absorber
and the shock absorber bridge.
Assembly drawing 18:
Drawing 18 shows the assembly of the cardan shaft cover. Make sure that the countersunk screw is mounted at the
right rear.
