Disassembly
Before periodic inspection or disassembly of the ’servitec’ system and or pressurized parts
these have to be depressurized.
1. close ball valves (1), (6) of the control unit and (G) of the ’fillset’,
2. open ball valve (21) until spray-tube (20) is depressurized,
3. drain spray-tube through ball valve (21) completely,
if necessary ventilation through screw-off of dipstick tube-deaeration unit (18).
Periodic check-up
Recommended max. inspection intervals for Germany according to § 15 (5) of the Plant
Safety Ordinance and classification of the ’servitec’ spray-tube in table 2
of directive 97/23/EC:
Valid with strict adherence to the ‚reflex‘ installation, operating and maintenance instructions:
external inspection: no requirement
internal inspection: maximum interval acc. to § 15 (5)
strength test: maximum interval acc. to § 15 (5)
The actual intervals must be laid down by the operator on the basis of a safety evaluation, ta-
king due account of the actual operating conditions and the applicable national regulations.
