Have the engine exhaust system inspected when the boat
is in for service.
Persons sleeping can easily be overcome by carbon
monoxide without realizing it. DO NOT sleep on board
while the engine is running.

Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Warning
Blockage of exhaust outlets located
along the transom can cause carbon
monoxide to accumulate in the cabin
and cockpit area, even when the
hatches, windows, portholes, and
doors are open.
Carbon Monoxide Poisoning From Blocked Outlets
Exhaust from another vessel alongside
your boat , while docked or anchored,
can emit poisonous CO gas inside the
cabin and cockpit areas of your boat.
