TYPICAL SWIM LADDER
When using the swim ladder, open the hatch and slide
the ladder out to the end of the travel. Next, rotate the
ladder over and let it down gently. Keep your hands and
fingers clear of any moving ladder parts especially under
the hinged top area between the ladder and swim plat-
form. Rotate the ladder up and close the fiberglass hatch
when returning to the vessel.
Insist that only one per-
son use the ladder at a time and that people do not
use any part of the outdrive or propeller(s) to climb
up on the swim platform or ladder. Bodily injury
could occur from falling or body parts coming in
contact with sharp metal objects such as propellers.
AVOID BODILY INJURY!
TURN THE ENGINES OFF
AND REMOVE THE IGNITION KEYS
WHILE PEOPLE ARE SWIMMING
NEAR THE VESSEL, USING THE SWIM
PLATFORM OR LADDER.
