CONVERTIBLE HARDTOP OPERATION
Your Regal sun coupe features a convertible hardtop
(sometimes called a sunroof). Normally a motorized belt
driven system is used to open and close the hardtop sun-
roof. The slide mechanism travels forward and aft on dual
rails. A cockpit switch activates the hardtop. Read and un-
derstand the warnings regarding the hardtop.
To open or close the sunroof:
1. Find the hardtop switch. It is located on a switch pan-
el located near the passenger
helm area.
2. Press hardtop switch (A) to
open or close the sunroof slid-
ing panel.
3. Should the switch fail to op-
erate check the breaker located
at the helm locker breaker panel.
4. Close the sunroof when leaving the vessel for extended
periods.

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS/SOLUTIONS-
SUNROOF
1. The sunroof is stuck open. On select
models you can remove the rear trolley
fasteners. At that point the center of the
bracket can be raised over the belt drive
bracket which will free up the belt. The
sunroof can now be closed manually. Use
caution when manually closing the sunroof. Install duct
tape as needed to keep sunroof panel closed.
2. Sunroof does not open/close. Check the breaker lo-
cated at the electronics locker next to the helm seat. If
breaker is good contact your closest Regal yacht dealer
for more information.
