Batterie : dépannage (HJB - Renault)
Check that there is no con-
tact between leads A and B
and that the positive lead A
is not touching any metal
parts on the vehicle supplying the
current.

Attach the positive cable A to the ter-
minal 1 (+) then to the terminal 5 (+) of
the battery supplying the current.
Attach the negative cable B to the ter-
minal 4 (–) of the battery supplying the
current and then to the terminal 2 (–).
BATTERY: troubleshooting (3/3)
Start the engine of the vehicle supply-
ing the current and run it at an interme-
diate engine speed.
If your vehicle’s engine does not start
immediately, switch off the ignition and
wait a few seconds before repeating
the operation.
With the engine running, disconnect
the A and B cables in the reverse order
(2 - 4 - 5 - 1).
Reposition the cover 3 of the termi-
nal 1 (+).
