condamnation automatique des ouvrants en roulage (X62 - Renault)
RAID (AUTOMATIC LOCKING WHEN DRIVING)
You can decide whether you want to
activate this function.
Operating principle
After the vehicle is started, the system
automatically locks the opening ele-
ments once your speed reaches ap-
proximately 4 mph (7 km/h).
The door can be unlocked:
by pressing the central door unlock-
ing switch 1;
at a standstill, by opening a front
door from inside the vehicle.
Activating/deactivating the
function
To activate it: with the ignition on,
press switch 1 for approximately five
seconds until you hear a beep. The
switch indicator light comes on when
the doors are locked.
To deactivate it: with the ignition on,
press switch 1 for approximately five
seconds until you hear a beep. The
warning light goes out.
Drivers responsibility
If you decide to keep the
doors locked when you are
driving, remember that it
may be more difficult for those as-
sisting you to gain access to the
passenger compartment in the
event of an emergency.

Operating faults
If you experience an operating fault
(no automatic locking, switch indica-
tor light 1 does not light up when trying
to lock the opening elements etc.), first
check that the opening elements are
properly closed. If they are properly
closed and the fault is still present, con-
tact an approved Dealer.
Also make sure that locking has not
been inadvertently deactivated.
If it has, switch the ignition off and on
again and reactivate it.
