TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (continued)
Examples of messages which may appear on the display
"Check tyre pressures"
A shaded wheel B indicates an
under or over-inflated tyre.
"Inflate tyres: motorway"
Thetyrepressureisnotsuitablefor
the speed of travel. Slow down or
inflate all four tyres to “motorway
pressure” (refer to the tyre pressure
table).
"Sensor fault"
One wheel (A) disappears,
indicating that the sensor on this
wheel is missing or faulty (e.g. if the
emergency spare wheel is fitted
etc.).
"Stop! Tyre puncture"
Replace wheel concerned B or
contact a RENAULT Dealer.
This message appears along with
the warning light.
Operating faults
In certain conditions involving
readjustment of tyre pressures, the
fault message may continue to be
displayed (for approximately 1 hour
and 45 minutes after the vehicle has
stopped).
