EMERGENCY SPARE WHEEL
The emergency spare wheel is
located underneath the vehicle.
- Open the tailgate;
- lift carpet 1 and place it against the
back of the rear bench seat;
- lift cover 2 then remove it,
- take out the tool kit, lifting it by
both handles 3.
Label A reminds you of how to
operate the emergency spare
wheel winch.
- Unscrew nut 4 in an
anti-clockwise direction until it
comes off completely, then place
thepalmofyourhandonsectionB
of handle 5 andpushtowardsthe
front of the vehicle; the wheel will
be lowered.
No-one should be
underneath the vehicle
when you press handle 5.
When you press handle 5,keep
your feet well away from the
vehicle.
-pullthewheeltowardsyou,
- lay the wheel down flat and
unfasten cable 6 from its housing
7.
- depending on the vehicle, remove
shim 8.
You may remove the wheel from its
support.
Do not touch the exhaust
as it could burn you.
