LOCKING/UNLOCKING THE DOORS (continued)
Locking / unlocking from inside:
button 4
It controls the doors, tailgate or
tailgate hatch and the fuel filler flap.
If an opening element (door, tailgate
or tailgate hatch) is open or not
properly closed, the opening
elements lock/unlock rapidly.
In some instances it may be
necessary to lock the vehicle with
one of the opening elements open,
(transporting an object in the boot
for example). In this case, with the
engine switched off, press button 4
formorethanfivesecondstolock
all the doors and tailgate.
Doors and tailgate locking
status indicator light
The indicator light integrated in
switch 4 shows whether or not the
doors and tailgate are locked:
- the light is on when the doors are
locked;
- the light goes out when the
opening elements are unlocked.
When you lock the doors, the
indicator light remains lit for
approximately one minute then
goes out.
Driver's responsibility
Never leave your vehicle
with the key in the
ignition.
If you decide to keep the doors
locked whilst driving, remember
that it may be more difficult for
those assisting you to gain access
to your vehicle in the event of an
emergency.
