INSTRUMENT PANEL (continued)
The presence and operation of the warning and indicator lights described below depend on the vehicle
equipment and the country.

Itcomesonwhenthe
engine is started then
goes out.
If it comes on when you are

Braking will function normally,
in the same way as a vehicle
without the ABS system.
Contact your RENAULT Dealer
as soon as possible.

This lights up when the
ignition is switched on
and goes out after a few seconds.
If it does not light up when the
ignition is switched on, or

running, there is a fault in the
system.
Consult your RENAULT Dealer
as soon as possible.
7 Preheating indicator
light
This light should come
on when the ignition key is in
position M, it indicates that the
heater plugs are functioning. It
goes out when pre-heating is
completed and the engine can
be started.

This goes out a few
seconds after the ignition is
switched on. It comes on with
other warning lights and/or a
message, and is accompanied by
abeep.
It indicates that it is essential to
stop immediately (as soon as
traffic conditions allow).
7 Handbrake on and
brake circuit fault
warning light
This lights up when the ignition
is switched on and goes out as
soon as the handbrake is
released. If the handbrake is not
fully released, the warning light
will remain lit, a beep will
sound and the message
handbrake on will be
displayed on the instrument
panel when the vehicle reaches
a speed of 12 mph (20 km/h) or
more.
If it comes on when the vehicle
is being driven and is
accompanied by the
warning light and a beep, it
indicates that the fluid level in
the circuit is low or that there is
a braking system fault.
Stop as soon as traffic
conditions allow and call a
RENAULT Dealer.
