The presence and operation of the warning and indicator lights described below depend on the vehicle
equipment and country.
2 Coolant temperature indicator
In normal use, the level should
be below zone 2a.Undersevere
conditions the needle may
approach this zone. This is not
serious unless the war-
ning light comes on
accompanied by a message on
the instrument panel and a
beep.
3 Gear engaged indicator (for
vehicles with an automatic
gearbox).
4 Rev counter
(scale × 1000)
The red zone indicates a
forbidden engine speed.
5 Speedometer (km or miles per
hour)
Overspeed buzzer
Depending on the vehicle, a
buzzer sounds for
approximately 10 seconds every
40seconds,foraslongasthe
vehicle is travelling in excess of
75 mph (120 km/h).
6 Display
It lights up to indicate that a
door, the tailgate, or tailgate
hatchisopenornotproperly
closed (refer to the information
on “tyre pressure monitor” in
Section 2).
7 Fuel level indicator
7b Low fuel level warning light
If it flashes and a beep sounds,
this indicates that the minimum
fuel level has been reached. Fill
up with fuel as soon as soon as
possible.
Each time the ignition is
switched on when the minimum
fuel level has been reached, a
beep sounds to warn you.
8 Toxic fume filter system
warning light
For vehicles equipped
with this option, the light comes
on when the ignition is
switched on then goes out.
If it lights up continuously,
contact your RENAULT Dealer
as soon as possible.
If it flashes, reduce the engine
speed until the light stops
flashing.
Consult your RENAULT Dealer
as soon as possible.
