5. SENT Interface (RH850/F1Kx Series only)
The SENT module supports the SPC (Short PWM Code) extension of the J2716 specification that introduces a bi-
directional and synchronous communication. The SPC extension can be enabled by software (by RSENTnCC.SPCE
bit).
When the SPC extension is used an external transistor is required in order to pull-down the RX line to initiate a SENT
message transmission. In the RH850/F1Kx series this is realized by controlling an external transistor connected to the
RSENTnSPCO pin. The polarity of the RSENTnSPCO pin can be configured by software (by RSENTnCC.SOPC bit).
